A finely worked Chunese Export silver photograph frame.
The border around the oval reserve of this rectangular frame is closely repousse and pierced worked with the plum blossom motif . Birds are worked within the blossoms. There is a round reserve at the top centre for engraving.
The plum blossom symbolises new beginnings and would make a great wedding or anniversary present.
In fine condition , this frame is a good size for modern photo sizes.
