Chinese Export silver ink stand.
A shaped square ink pot repousse worked with chrysanthemums ( that bloom through the frost) stands on a rosewood base and two curved chrysanthemum branches form the pen rest.
There is a small inserted tray for paper clips.
The base stands on four silver ball feet.
In excellent condition this piece is a fine example of the work of Luen Wo of Shanghai.
