A large and heavy sterling silver presentation bowl from Kashmir in Northern India.

The Kashmiri silversmiths used the motifs around them as decoration-in this case the coriander plant with flowers -.  Close repousse work

This bowl is in a square form sitting on a twisted square base.  The rim of the bowl has in addition a finely worked gallery again using the coriander plant
