A Victorian English silver presentation tea pot by Frederick Elkington.

The round shape has bright cut engraved leaves decoration.

The two reserves commemorate the first sale of Shorthorns in 1872.

Shorthorn was a breed of cattle developed in the north of England in the late 18th century.   The shorthorn society was founded in 1874.

Superb condition and weight and so much history.
