Description

Silver tobacco boxes are of an era

Both these tobacco boxes date from around 1900.

The English tobacco box is by Henry Williamson and is hallmarked Birmingham 1902.

It has a coat of arms and the motto  engraved on the lid : “Floreat Prosper” – Let it prosper .

The Chinese Export silver tobacco box is by Kuen Wo and dates from around 1900 too

A silver tobacco tin/box opens by applying gentle pressure to each side. You need the other hand to fill that pipe!
