GEORGIAN ENGLISH SILVER SALVER

Share

Description

A Georgian English silver salver dating from 260 years ago !!!

The beauty of English silver is you can verify the exact age through the hallmarks ( see my blog )

But this salver is soooo old! By Ebenezer Coker it still retains some details – like the three ball and claw feet and the crimped border

The polished ( much!) centre of the salver is engraved with a finely detailed coat of arms ( more research and we might even find out who commissioned this piece)

An amazing treasure but still affordable and that can be used in a modern home
