Description
A working!! Chinese Export silver pepper grinder by Wang Hing of Hong Kong – he always knew what the Westerners wanted!
The colomnar body of the pepper has been worked with finely detailed scenes – a mixture of battles and tranquil scenes
The base is finely engraved and there is bamboo ( for resilience) around the top
The cast finial is in the form of a chrysanthemum (that bloom through the frost) bud
There is a round reserve which has the curled initials the original owner
So much detail on one pepper grinder
