Description

A Chinese Export silver tea pot by Luen Wo of Shanghai

Luen Wo is well known for his  flower motifs and here we find chrysanthemums worked all over the lid and the round body of the pot.

Chrysanthemums bloom through the frost and symbolise devoted love, loyalty, happiness, longevity, and joy

The bamboo motif –  for resilience- forms the handle , spout and finial

Perfect for herb tea at the end of a dinner party
