A Chinese Export silver presentation vase which was perhaps presented as a prize at a sporting event – very much in the form of a standing cup.
The curved urn style body of the vase/ cup is finely repousse worked with tranquil scenes.
Three dimensional cast dragons form handles on either side of the vase
The stem of the vase is another cast dragon.
This Chinese Export silver vase comes with the original carved wooden stand
Luckily for us the piece has not been overcleaned and the details of the scenes and the dragons are still very crisp.
