The rounded caddie is repousse worked on all sides with plum blossom. The shoulders are engraved with the plum blossom motif which is repeated on the closely fitting lid.
It stands on crenelated feet
Plum blossom symbolises new beginnings and could have been for the new century or as a wedding or anniversary gift
