A Georgian silver salver by Barnard Bros

This maker is possibly the oldest silver manufacturer in the world – established in 1680

This example of their work is a mere  210 years old and yet the engraving on this salver is still so crisp

The shell and foliage border is repeated on the three cast feet

Ideal size for a three piece tea set it could also be used for serving drinks
