THREE VICTORIAN SILVER JUGS

Share

Description

The three bears in the form of English silver jugs

The original jug dates from Georgian times – 1819 and is very much a classic shape of that period

Fast forward more than seventy years and someone has specially commissioned the same shaped jugs in two different sizes – hallmarked the same year (1892) and crafted by the same silversmith.

The sizes of the silver  jugs offer many uses – from cream to sauces to vinaigrettes

They have been together for 130 years so it would be a shame to split them now
