Description

A fine large Indian  presentation bowl dating from c 1908.

Dancing divinities are worked in lozenges around the rounded body and top and bottom of the Indian bowl there are a series of bands of chased borders..

This bowl was originally presented to Miss Hoyne-Fox in September 1908. Her father was the architect of the Anglican Cathedral in Rangoon, Burma
