A Burmese silver presentation bowl in the typical begging bowl form dating from the late 19th century.

There are six repousse worked panels depicting the Ramayana set in lorgnettes – a style typical of Mandalay.

The borders at the top of the bowl and the lotus petal decoration carved on the base follow the traditional style of Burmese bowls
